FAQ?

How do I get my digital download file after I’ve placed my order?

You will automatically receive an email with a link to download your digital files within minutes after completing your order with a valid payment method. Please check the email address and check your spam folder. Although this is an automatic process, it may take the email from 5-10 minutes to arrive. Please be patient.

Why can’t I download my file using my phone/iPad?

Most mobile devices such as phones and iPads do not allow downloading of files through a link. If you have a device running iOS version 11 and higher, you should be able to download your file. If you haven’t upgraded your device recently to at least iOS version 11, you may want to do that before you try downloading your file.

The file is a ZIP file. What do I do with it?
A ZIP file is a compressed file that can hold several files at once while maintaining a manageable file size that can be sent via email. ZIP files need to be downloaded and then “unzipped” so the files contained inside can be accessed.

How do I download and open a ZIP file?

First, we recommend downloading ZIP files to a desktop or laptop computer (as opposed to a mobile device) whenever possible.

To download a ZIP file to a desktop or laptop computer, click on the file in the email link. It will automatically begin downloading to your computer. Save the ZIP file to your computer, right-click and choose “Extract All” (on Windows) or double-click (on a Mac). This process will create a new file on your computer that you can open and access the files contained inside.

To download a ZIP file to a mobile device like a phone or tablet, be sure your device has been upgraded to iOS 11 or higher before you start (for iPads and iPhones). If your mobile device doesn’t have iOS 11 or higher, you may need a separate (free) app to unzip your ZIP file. In this case you’ll need an unzipping app before you try to download the ZIP file. On some mobile devices you can also press and hold your finger on the icon of the zipped file until some options appear. Then click on “Extract.”

For iPads and iPhones on iOS 11 and higher, you can click “Preview Contents” to view the contents inside the ZIP file and then save them one at a time to your device.

How do I get the files onto my phone, tablet, or iPad?

If you need to get the downloaded files from your desktop or laptop onto your mobile device, you can add the file to iCloud (or Dropbox, if you have it). You can also email the file to yourself from your desktop or laptop.

What if my file is downloading slowly (or not at all)?

If you have issues with downloading speeds, be sure you have a strong Internet connection before retrying your download. You can also try using a different browser to access the downloadable files.

How do I find the file I downloaded on my computer?

For a PC or a Mac, check your Downloads folder first. Most downloaded files automatically go there after you download them. You can also search for your downloaded file. On a Mac, click the “Finder” icon in your dock and then click on Downloads to see recently downloaded files. On a PC, look in “My Computer” or “File Explorer” for the file. You can search in File Explorer using keywords from the the title of the file name to locate where the files have been saved on your computer.

How do I open a PDF?
PDF files must be opened viewed with a PDF reader program. Luckily almost all computers have Adobe Reader software already installed. If your desktop, laptop, or mobile device doesn’t not have a PDF reader, you’ll need to download one to view the PDF files. Adobe Reader is a free PDF reader software.

ALL ABOUT GOOGLE SHEETS

WHY DID I RECEIVE A PDF WITH MY DOWNLOAD?

Many of our spreadsheets are created for and on Google Sheets. As Google Sheets is an online program we cannot include a direct file that takes you to the spreadsheet, but instead you will need a link. For that reason the file included with your purchase is a PDF. The PDF will contain a link to your spreadsheet as well as a link to the instructions of the spreadsheet.

I CAN'T ACCESS THE SPREADSHEET OR IT OPENS IN VIEW ONLY MODE

  • Sign In: If you are not signed in to the application or platform where the spreadsheet is hosted, sign in with the correct account that has been granted access.

  • Duplicate the Spreadsheet: If you have view-only access, try to duplicate the spreadsheet. This copy should allow you to have editing capabilities.

  • Request Access: If you believe you should have access to the spreadsheet, but do not, reach out to the owner and request access.

  • Try a Different Browser or Device: Sometimes the issue may be related to the browser or device you are using. Try accessing the spreadsheet from a different browser or device to see if that resolves the problem.

  • Clear Cache and Cookies: Clearing the cache and cookies in your browser can help resolve loading issues that may be preventing you from accessing the spreadsheet.

  • Check for Offline Mode: Some applications have an offline mode where edits cannot be made. Ensure you are in online mode to access and edit the spreadsheet.

Use a Different App or Software: If the issue persists, you can try opening the spreadsheet in a different application or software that supports the file format.

I WOULD LIKE TO ACCESS MY SPREADSHEET WITH A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT

  • After you have made your purchase you can open it with any Google account, even if you already accessed it with a different Google Account.
To access it with the right Google Account:
    Head to sheets.google.com
Log in with the Google Account that you would like to use to access the spreadsheet
Head to the PDF, click the link and click “Use Template”
Your spreadsheet will now be linked to the right Google Account

CAN I USE MY SPREADSHEET WITH EXCEL INSTEAD OF GOOGLE SHEETS?
Excel sheets will work well on excel and Google sheets will work best only on google sheets. When a spreadsheet is exported to an Excel format the formulas won’t translate properly, and the spreadsheet will not function as designed.

    Make Your Spreadsheet Available Offline
While you will need an internet browser to edit your spreadsheet, Google Sheets has made it possible for you to edit and access your spreadsheet offline. You can find more information regarding using and editing your spreadsheet online on the Google Docs Help Platform. Access Your Spreadsheet On Your Phone Or Tablet. While we recommend opening the spreadsheet for the first time on your computer or laptop, there are no restrictions on which devices you can open or edit your spreadsheet.

Access Your Spreadsheet From Multiple Account If you would like to access the spreadsheet with multiple Google Accounts, for example because you would like to share your budget with your partner. Take the following steps: In the top right corner of the spreadsheet you will see a big green “Share” button, click it. In the bar that says “add people or groups” type in the email address of the person you would like to share the spreadsheet with and pick what permission you are giving them for ex: Viewer, Editor or Owner.
